This holiday-themed crawl through City Centre started at Bowl and Barrel with bowling, sliders and mimosas. For a girlfriends night out, birthday celebration or good-ole family fun, Bowl and Barrel is great place to bring people together.

Our next stop on the #GlistenDineAround was at a quaint, family-owned tasting bar. No, this wasn’t an establishment that served alcohol, instead it served more than 50 varieties of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegars. We sampled some unique and fresh flavor infusions, like Peach Mist for example.

The third stop on the culinary food crawl led us to Seasons 52. We were treated to delectable food and tasty cocktails. We started with a a cranberry and sage cocktail made with organic gin and fresh cranberries. We dined on their famous flatbreads, lollipop duck wings, caramelized bosc pear and burrata salad. And for dessert – a pumpkin spiced mousse with a homemade gingersnap cookie.

Our next stop on the food crawl was at Straits, a Pan-Asian fusion restaurant and bar. The chef prepared a tasty trio of beef, spicy chicken and honey-glazed shrimp for us.

The culinary crawl ended with cocktails at Radio Milano. Our mixologist Brandon made a couple of their signature seasonal cocktails – one with whiskey and the other with vodka. Simply delightful!

What a fun day food crawling! Ms. Independent and City Centre were excellent hosts. The food, drinks and gift ideas were enlightening. We’ll be back!
