Houston recently introduced a food hall right in the heart of downtown.
And that would be Finn Hall. Catchy, huh?
Finn Hall is made up of 10 independently operated restaurants, a craft cocktail lounge and a full bar right smack dab in the middle.
We ventured there this past Sunday before attending a play at the Ensemble Theatre.
Aesthetically we were pleased.
It’s legit a “hall” in which it essentially take a U-shape, with restaurants on each side. There’s plenty of seating and clean restrooms, so we can imagine just how busy it gets during daytime lunch rush.
We dined at Craft Burger, the brainchild of Chef Shannen Tune. The Finn Hall location was preceded by the Craft Burger Food Truck, known for its gourmet burgers, sandwiches and sides.
We also picked up some steak tacos from Goode Company’s Taqueria (the tacos are huge)!
Now due to the fact we were on a time crunch to get to the play, we didn’t have time for a drink at the bar, HOWEVER, we will not rule that out for future visits!
For a full list of restaurants at Finn Hall, check out their website here.

**And one final word to the wise: it’s downtown…so parking is ridiculous. We were both gifted with a $70 parking fine when we returned to our cars, so yeah, be sure to adhere to all parking and street signs – even on Sunday!
Honestly, this spot is ideal for downtown workers and those who live in the area!
Finn Hall is located at 712 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002.
